Our Vision
The people of Faith Bible Church seek to be vessels of Christ-exalting joy both to the Southwestern Wisconsin Driftless community and to the world.
“So that by God's grace at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.”
– Philippians 2:10–11
Our Mission
To share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through biblical instruction, evangelism, discipleship, worship, and utilizing every God-given spiritual gift and resource.
Statement of Faith
God
We believe in one God, creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit – each of whom possess equally all the attributes of deity and characteristics of personality. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19, I Corinthians 8:6)
Jesus Christ
We believe in the humanity and deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. We believe in His sinless life, miracles, death as substitutionary atonement, bodily resurrection, ascension, intercessory priesthood, and personal return in power and glory. (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:18-25, Luke 1:26-38, Romans 5:6-10, Hebrews 7:25)
Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit glorifies Jesus Christ, convicts, regenerates, indwells, empowers believers, and equips them with spiritual gifts for building up the Church. (John 14:15-17, 16:7-8, 13-14; I Corinthians 12:7-11, Galatians 5:22-23)
Trinity
Though we believe in one God, Scripture reveals that He exists eternally in three distinct persons. Though the term "Trinity" isn't used in Scripture, its reality is evident throughout. (Genesis 1:1-2, 26-27, Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 3:13-17)
Scripture
The Scriptures are the inspired, inerrant Word of God — the final authority for faith, life, and salvation. (Psalm 119, II Timothy 3:16, Hebrews 4:12, II Peter 1:19-21)
Humanity
Humans were made in God's image but fell into sin. Salvation and spiritual life come only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:26-27, Romans 3:23, John 3:16-18, Titus 3:5)
Salvation
Salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ — by His shed blood and resurrection. Believers are born again and united in the true Church. (John 14:6, Ephesians 2:8-10)
Church
Jesus is the Head of the Church. The true Church is made of believers saved through faith, regenerated by the Holy Spirit, and united in Christ. (Ephesians 1:11-14, 4:1-17, Colossians 1:18)
Ordinances
We affirm believer's baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper as symbols of obedience — not requirements for salvation. (Romans 6:3-5, I Corinthians 11:23-29)
End Times
We believe in Christ’s imminent return — the Blessed Hope — which encourages holy living and service. (I Thessalonians 4:16, Titus 2:12-13, Matthew 24:36-44)
Judgement
We believe in the bodily resurrection of all — the saved to eternal joy, and the unsaved to everlasting judgment. (Hebrews 9:27, Revelation 20:11-15, Matthew 25:46)
Marriage
We believe marriage is a covenant union between one man and one woman, reflecting the relationship between Christ and the Church. (Genesis 2:24, Ephesians 5:31-32, Romans 1:27)
